 All I did for the break was stay in bed and rest, since i was not feeling well and had a fever for the whole week with a persistent cough. So all day I drank my medicine and slept all day since I could not really do anything throughout the day.

On Friday we learned how to create Claims of Fact and Claims of Policy, I learned that for every topic, you can do a claim of fact or a claim of policy or you can either agree or disagree on the topic. I will try to improve my knowledge about this topic to better understand it. I liked that it was a simple lesson and kind of easy to understand but I struggled to come up with some claims for the topics.

We did a test on the American Intervention on domestic and global affairs and how they have affected the point of view of many Americans throughout history. I learned that because of the Monroe Doctrine, the U.S. shifted from isolationism to interventionism, due to the fact that it thought that it could maintain peace in the world through its power. I think that I can use this knowledge to change my point of view on how the U.S. has handled its interventions through time and in the future. I didn't really like the lesson but i don't think it was hard, I kind of struggled with the last part of the test. I'm feeling tired today, and my day is going pretty average.
